Precision Health Platform is now five cities strong and has started to scale the city-wide surveillance for SARS-CoV-2 virus and other pathogens of interest in other cities of India. These serve as an Early Warning System for COVID outbreaks by detecting and tracking the SARS-CoV-2 virus from different wastewater sources within the city.
The goal is to scale at least 25 cities in India and SEA (over a period of 3 years) with strengthened capacities for environmental surveillance.
The platform provides technical support to city partners for setting up city-wide surveillance initiatives by providing data analytics, and platform support as data dashboards, digital tools, and communication toolkits. The platform supports the set-up and implementation with tools and resources, capacity enhancement through Playbook and SoPs, routine quality assurance, fund management, and by hosting learning and sharing platforms.
